"Still Life"detail

There is seldom an artist who doesn't do a still life once in a while. This was the first ever for Claudia and she just gathered a couple of things from around the house and set them on the cellarette with normal daylight. Her favorite hunting whip is featured along with a family tankard. Note the hallmarks in the detail and it has the family crest engraved on the face.Doing paintings like this sharpens your eye for light , especially relfected light.
