"Missouri Longhorns"detail

On a commission trip to Missouri the family that Claudia was working for had friends with a large ranch raising champion Longhorn cattle. After a visit to the barn areas to meet the latest big winner, they toured the farm where other bulls were resting from the breeding season. This magnificient character and his friend stood motionless while a quick watercolor was done. This area is right on the edge of the prairie and is dotted with Indian paintbrush flowers.
