Living up to their heritage my dogs dispensed with a three foot copperhead last December right in the back yard. The one holding the not- dead- yet snake is "Ticket" who is 12. Behind her is her daughter Beverly and daughter Julie. Everyone was bit, Beverly the worst, but by the time it struck Ticket three times it had no venom. Some anti-inflammatory and antibiotics and they were fine the next day.
