Quijote ( on right ) is pictured here with his  young protégé, Willard, in a wooded upland setting, prime country for partridge. These Clumber Spaniels are among the heaviest of all Spaniel breeds and a true sporting dog. Their history is special and their true origins still somewhat unclear.
