This is probably Claudia's most famous hound painting. Printed on the cover of The Chronicle years ago, people still ask about it. Decendants of these hounds are hunting today, but some things never change at the kennel. Those who were left eagerly await those who went out for the day. Hounds are pack animals and the structure of the pack is crucial to their happiness whether it is wild dogs in Africa or the dogs in the house. The original is in a private collection of a great horseman and humitarian.
