"Bill and Dick"

William C. Bermingham MFH and Richard D. Webb MFH both served as presidents of the Masters of Foxhounds Association of America. At the end of their terms they wanted to have a painting done of them together which would go into the permanent collection of the MFHA. Teased that the reason they wanted both of them in one painting was to save money, the true reasons were a hard sell. In fact, Hamilton Hunt and the Moore County Hounds had been close allies for years with drafting of hounds back and forth and Bill coming to the south in the winters. Furthermore Hamilton's huntsman of many years is now with Moore County so it made a lot of sense to create a real hunting piece that had a lot of history in it.

(Foxy detail) Their horses too were special....Jimmy James and Dick were a great team leading the field for years. Foxy was famous with Bill, such a big heart and a love of hounds. This painting is now in the collection of the Masters of Foxhounds of America.
